Welcome to another great episode of LIFE WORK BALANCES, the podcast for, by, and about student affairs professionals.
Today I sat down to chat with RJ Holmes-Leopold. RJ is the director of the career engagement center at Cornell College, and we had a great time learning a bit more about each other since, although we know a lot of similar people, we had never had the chance to meet. We talked about sports, gifted and talented programs, ESL, being involved in student government, small colleges, connecting with administrators, and working toward values. We also talked about pets, partners, taking a break, writing a dissertation, running, exercising, being a visible staff members, reality television, and the changes in priorities that happen over the course of a year on a college campus.
