Welcome to another Wednesday with LIFE WORK BALANCES
Today I had the chance to talk to Jessica Williams, who is a PhD student at the University of San Diego, and works in the Admissions and Outreach office for the School of Leadership and Educations Sciences, as well as being an Adjunct Faculty for the Counseling Program there. We had a really fun time talking and connecting, and I am really excited for you all to learn more about her. We talked about growing up in a diverse area, school, moving, culture shock, choosing a college based on feel, negotiating with parents, feeling at home, and new adventures. We also talked about writing, blogging, friends, work, offices, boundaries, expectations, and a lot more! Also make sure you check out Jessica’s blog: The World in My Words

Hi Everyone, and welcome to another episode of LIFE WORK BALANCES!
This week I had the pleasure of talking to Colber Prosper, Coordinator of Multicultural Student Affairs at Keene State College. We had a great conversation about growing up in Florida, familial expectations versus societal expectations, his experience as a student athlete, and movies (Red Tails in particular) among many other things. This conversation was also a first for me, in that Colber and I had never met before this interview. It was a challenge to have this type of conversation with someone with whom I had only ever talked to over email, but I am really happy with the way it came out, as well as to have made a new friend in the process.
As always, if you want to be interviewed for the LIFE WORK BALANCES podcast, or want to give any feedback please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
