Hello Everyone! Welcome to another Wednesday morning with LIFE WORK BALANCES!
Today I had the chance to sit down with Violetta Gonzalez, Assistant Director at the Cross Cultural Center at UC San Diego. We had been trying to get this conversation scheduled for a while now, and it was really awesome to get to sit down and talk to Violetta about her life, hear her story, and really connect on some things. We talked about moving around as a kid, the affects that moving can have on friendships and relationships, the importance of staying connected to family, and how some of us just are not people who want to have room mates. We also talked about Violetta’s interest in Swing Dancing and Lindy Hop, fitness, tattoos, the different things that influence where we will search for jobs and graduate programs, and the reasons that Violetta never wants to leave San Diego.
