Hello There! Welcome to another episode of LIFE WORK BALANCES!
Today I had the pleasure of sitting down with Kathy Obear, consultant, educator, and founding faculty member of the Social Justice Training Institute. It was really wonderful to catch up with Kathy, and it was also really great to hear her tell her own story. We talked about growing up in Maryland, and the beginnings of Kathy’s love of being outdoors and camping. We also talked about her experiences as a student affairs professional, the importance of gaining a diversity of experiences as a professional, how she made the transition into being a full time consultant, her first experience with civil disobedience, and all of the wonderful things there are to explore living in New York City.
Check out Kathy’s BLOG on her WEB SITE.
