Welcome to another episode of LIFE WORK BALANCES!
Today I got to interview Dr. Esteban del Rio, who is an Associate Professor of Communication at the University of San Diego and also serves as the Associate Provost for Inclusion and Diversity and the Director for the Center for Inclusion and Diversity (which means he is my boss). We got to talk over an afternoon snack about his experience growing up in San Diego, creativity, meeting his partner, kids, growing into being an academic, getting involved, investing in what other people think, and peanut butter and jelly tortias. We also talked about authenticity, caring, bicycling, accessibility, safety, political advocacy, and much much more!
