Welcome to another Wednesday morning with LIFE WORK BALANCES!
Today I sat down with Mitchelle Greenlee, who is an Assistant Resident Dean at Thurgood Marshall College at UC San Diego. Mitchelle and I have known each other for a good number of years, and it was really great to get to spend some time with her and chat about some things that we don’t always talk about when we are hanging out. We spent some time talking about growing up in the Midwest, student activism, figuring out college as a first generation student, moving with a partner, exploring new parts of the country, changing graduate programs, and the changes that happen when you stay in a position for a long time. We also talked about being an involved parent, and how that can open up a lot of fun new opportunities, volleyball, the beach, girl scouts, music, supporting local businesses, and a lot more!
