Hi there, and welcome to another Wednesday morning and another episode of LIFE WORK BALANCES!
Today I sat down with Julie Schell, who is an educational researcher for the Mazur Group at Harvard University. Julie was also my internship class instructor when I was a graduate student at Teachers College, Columbia University. We hadn’t caught up in a while, and it was certainly a lot of fun to hear about all the great things Julie has been doing in the past few years! We talked about physics, computer science, growing up in Las Vegas, playing sports, being an early adopter for technology, internet bulletin boards and community building, as well as having a teacher or professor make a significant change in one’s life. We also talked about karate, dogs, photography, music, taking breaks, the benefits and hurtles of having a home office, travel, and turning off the iPhone.
Make sure you check out Julie’s BLOG.
