Welcome to another Wednesday episode of LIFE WORK BALANCES.
Today I had the chance to chat with Lorena Marquez, the coordinator for the Cesar E. Chavez Center for Higher Education at Cal Poly Pamona. Lorena and I have been talking about doing an interview for the podcast since before the podcast began, so it was great to finally be able to get our schedules to line up and have a chat! We talked about familial expectations, commuting, Lorena’s triangle of work, mentoring, new opportunities, moving, social justice, and stepping out of one’s comfort zone. We also talked about running, yoga, pets, music, vulnerability, connection, friends, and a great deal more!
